Power cuts have become an every day affair, due to the short supply of electricity in the country. Due to the ever increasing population and the augmenting demand of electricity, there will come a time when electricity will become scarce. It is a good bet to tap other forms of energy, called the alternative/ renewable sources of energy to avert a crisis situation. Kamal Solar, has taken a substantial step in this direction. We are a distinguished manufacturer, supplier and installer of Solar Water Heating Systems. Since our inception in the year 1999, we have changed people's perception about solar energy. Our range of solar water heaters is reliable, affordable, durable, and easy to install and maintain.
The water heaters manufactured at our unit find application in both the industrial and domestic sectors. We manufacture two types of water heaters- Evacuated Tube Collector (E.T.C.) Solar Water Heating Systems and Flat Plate Solar Water Heating Systems. By installing a solar heater, one can save the electricity up to 1200 units per year, i.e to say, the entire cost incurred on the heater can be recovered in a matter of 40 months. We have an annual turnover of over Rs. 9 crore. Our company is registered with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India and the Bureau of Indian standards. Owing to the superlative quality offered by us, we also have ISO 9001:2000 and ISI certifications to our credit. Our company is also a member of the Karnataka Solar Manufacturers' Association.
Product Range and Application
Kamal Solar is a reputed manufacturer, supplier and installer of Solar Water Heating Systems. There are two types of water heaters that we deal in, they are:
- Evacuated Tube Collector (E.T.C.) Solar Water Heating Systems (100/ 150/ 200 LPD and above)
- Flat Plate Solar Water Heating Systems (100 to one lakh LPD for domestic, institutional and commercial users).
Our systems have two operating modes: - Thermosyphon/ Natural Flow Mode: These water heaters are meant mainly for domestic use. These heaters work on the principle that the hot water has the tendency to rise, as it has lower density than cold water. Due to this feature, the water circulates from the solar collector to the storage, with the aid of this natural process.
- Forced-circulation Mode: In these types of heaters, the water is pumped from the collectors to the tank. They have a greater temperature output, and are thus, best suited for industrial sectors.
Product Features
- You can save up to 1200 units of electricity per year by installing our solar water heating systems
- Water can be heated up to 60 to 85°C, depending on the ambient temperature
- Water heaters are available in the range of 100/125 liters and above, to suit the needs of both domestic and commercial users
- All the products are manufactured according to the norms of IS: 12933 ISI
- These heaters provide hot water even during cloudy days, as they have excellent insulation systems
- Selective black-chrome coating for solar collector with STUCCO finish aluminium back sheet
- Indium activated special grade- sacrificial anode for protection of solar collector and tank from galvanic corrosion
- All components of the system are corrosion resistant
- The water heaters are have 100% GE Silicon sealing for leak proof joints.
